Description:

Our client is one of Europe’s largest producers of confectionary products, employing more than 5000 people in several different countries. The company are expanding their operations in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republics and so we are now seeking an experienced sales manager to grow their direct to retail trade.

As Country Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales and account management throughout the territory, engaging with retail chains and securing long term relationships. Long term, you will be responsible for building and leading a commercial team to enable further growth.

Main Tasks:

  • Build effective trading relationships with retail outlets (shops, supermarkets etc).
  • Be responsible for all sales activities within the region, overseeing all negotiations from start to conclusion.
  • Be a key part of future budget and forecast planning and implementation
  • Mid to Long term – build and manage a territory/key account team for your region
  • Liaise with production/logistics to ensure that the supply chain to customer is effective
  • Roll out sales promotions and discount offers across your region

Main Requirements

We’re seeking an enthusiastic sales professional who would like to apply their existing experience to a brand new product market entry. Ideally you will have some track record in selling to retail outlets, especially to supermarkets and/or medium to large retail outlets and concessions. We need someone who can communicate effectively in both Czech and English language, able to travel regularly and operate relatively independently.

We can offer a proven track record in supplying products and building lasting relationships in many locations across Europe, strong financial backing and marketing support. We will supply all the equipment needed (company car, notebook etc), and provide a renumeration package that works according to your needs. We can also offer a real long term growth opportunity, as the market grows, you will be responsible for expanding and managing the sales/account management team.
