Our partners at GP-Connect are currently offering an amazing opportunity to join their team. GP Connect is a leading provider of staffing solutions to HORECA clients in the Netherlands. Their young and genuinely dynamic team has rapidly grown to become a reliable partner to restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality companies in the region.

In preparation for the re-opening of the hospitality/tourism market, we are now seeking an energetic and hard-working coordinator to play a key role in GP Connect’s ongoing success story and help our client’s restart their businesses with the best possible employees on their team.

Key Elements of this role:

  • You will form an important connection between us (as your recruitment partner) and other service providers, and directly with GP Connect’s customers.
  • You will be responsible for communicating with the customer (restaurant, kitchen and so on), understanding their staffing needs and then communicating them to your recruitment partners.
  • You will also coordinate candidates, assist with interviewing, offer making and ultimately onboarding the new employees. You will display superb commercial and customer service skills to maintain and build on our good reputations with customers.
  • You need to display excellent listening and people skills, as you are the key link for our contract workers and our clients. This is not a routine recruitment or HR job. In this role you will be a recruiter, relationship manager, account manager, relocation support and handyman! There will be stressful moments and very busy periods to cope with. Of course, our team will support you during these times, but you will need to personally work through them and keep everything running.

 

Key Skills We Need

We need someone with excellent people skills and an ability to deliver very high levels of customer service and account management.

You will need to be comfortable using English language for business communication and interviews. Fluent or native Dutch language will also be needed for client communication.

You will need to be based in Zeeland or Noord Brabant. If you are not already in these locations but are happy to relocate, you are still welcome to apply.

You will need a driving license and be prepared o travel around the region for client and employee meetings regularly.

We would welcome people with experience in similar coordination roles, experience in in house recruitment, relocation, hands on account management, face to face negotiations are all very welcome as is any knowledge of Dutch labour law.

 

Strong communication and people skills are needed. You will need to be able to gain client’s and employee’s confidence and trust quickly, handle both good news and bad news situations professionally and diplomatically.

During peak times, this can be an extremely busy role and not for people seeking a predictable office working time job. You should also enjoy solving problems and creating solutions creatively.

We offer a basic starting salary of €1800-€2000 gross per month, 25 days vacations (with 8.5% vacation allowance), choose your own phone scheme (we will pay the first €225 monthly), use of a company car and a twice yearly performance bonus scheme.
