Would you like to try something new this year? We currently have around 40 vacancies for cooks, chefs, waiters, waitresses and kitchen helpers to work in busy, professional restaurants in Zeeland and North Brabant in the Netherlands.
If you have some previous working experience in any of the areas we are hiring for, we would like to hear from you!
Here’s What We Need, and What We Do
We are happy to employ people for a minimum fixed length of 4 months or longer. All of our employees work on a full time Dutch employment contract, we will manage your registration with the local employment office.
General working times are 5 days per week, 38 to 40 hours. As this is hospitality, working on the weekend and early late shifts are needed. During busy times, opportunities to work extra hours are available.
We arrange accommodation for your stay in the Netherlands. Typically this is either live in accommodation at the hotel or a shared apartment with two other people. If you are sharing an apartment, we ensure that everyone has their own separate room. We try to keep rental charges to a minimum; typical rent is around 80 Euros per week.
We try to make the hiring process as smooth as possible. Hiring and interviews are managed by video call, there is no need to go to the Netherlands for interviews or trial days.
We currently have around 30 hotels, holiday parks and restaurants hiring in Zeeland and North Brabant. This area is a great tourist destination, close to the border with Belgium, with picturesque beach resorts and historic towns and cities. During your time off, it is a great area for relaxing and recreational sports. Rotterdam is close by and weekend trips to Germany and Belgium are easily manageable.
English is the main language that we need. We don’t need perfect English, but you should be comfortable speaking English at work. For some of our resorts, German and sometimes French language are helpful for communicating with guests. Dutch language is not needed but, if you want to practice or learn Dutch you will definitely be welcome to do so!
Pay varies depending on the exact role and work location but, is generally net 10 to 11 Euros per hour. We pay salaries on a weekly basis, so you’ll start earning money quickly.
